Key Benefits

The TrueDyne flow sensor was developed for fast and precise flow measurement. Thanks to its membrane system, the thermal mass is reduced to a minimum, enabling a very fast response time while maintaining low energy consumption. In addition, raw data can be evaluated according to customer-specific requirements or optimized for the respective application.

In addition to reliably measuring flow rates, the FGF offers high sensitivity and is suitable for use under varying pressure conditions of up to 16 bar absolute and in different mounting orientations.

The FGF flow sensor is optimally designed for integration into compact mass flow controller systems with limited installation space. The included, precisely matched PCB enables easy integration and also provides a digital interface.

Applications

Mass Flow Controllers in Gas Mixing Systems

The TrueDyne FGF flow sensor is ideal for use in mass flow controllers for the precise regulation of gas mixtures. Thanks to its high sensitivity and fast response time, it enables the accurate dosing of individual gas flows and supports the stable and reproducible adjustment of complex mixing ratios.

Coming Soon – Automatic Gas Switching

When the gas type is changed, thermal flow systems must be adjusted manually. This usually also requires a real-gas calibration performed by the manufacturer. As a result, different sensor variants and calibration gases must be kept in stock, leading to additional costs and an increased risk of mix-ups.

In the future, automatic gas type detection using the density sensor will allow the flow table to be adjusted automatically, helping to prevent process errors.
