Burde & Co. was founded in 1951 by R. Kurt Burde. In 1988, the company was reorganized as a limited liability company (GesmbH).

What began as a business dealing in fluorocarbon plastics and ball valves has grown into a leading supplier of precision valves and fittings. Today, Burde offers products for measurement and control technology, analytics, environmental engineering, process engineering, and safety technology.
